Richard Smolenski

Teacher, Theologian, and Technologist

You Can Call me Ric

My name is Richard, but my friends call me Ric. I’ve currently a slightly successful online entrepreneur, but I’ve also been an IT director, college instructor, and college dean.

I’m kind of a theology nerd, but I had to study a lot because I must not be that bright:

  • B.A. – Administration, California State University, San Bernardino
  • M.A. – Christian Apologetics, Biola University
  • M.A. Religion – Biblical Studies, Liberty University
  • M.Div. -Theology and Apologetics, Liberty University

I’m also pretty geeky. I’ve taught IT courses and I currently hold or have held the following certifications: Certified Scrum Master, Titanium Certified Application Developer, i-Net+, A+, Network+, Security+, Certified Novell Administrator, Certified Novell Engineer, Master Certified Novell Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate, and Microsoft Certified Professional. Okay, so those Novell ones don’t mean so much now, but they were a lot of work so I’m including them 🙂

This is the Second Version of Prudent Musings

I originally started this site in 2007, blogged for a few years, then stopped. The site stayed online for a few years after that until I finally took it down. I kept the domain name, though, and now I’m back.
