On Dec 1st 2009 the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) required that bloggers disclose whenever they have some type of unspoken interest or any hidden bias in their posts.

The purpose of this blog is not financial, but I may occasionally link to products (e.g., books) if I talk about them. And if I can make a few cents rather than zero cents if you actually purchase the book based on my referral, why wouldn’t I, especially if it doesn’t cost you anything more.

So here are the required disclosures.
